Not sure what this does?

I've been coming across these in LED lights , some have them some don't. Its the little blue resistor (I think )at the left side of the driver. What's the purpose of them and why are they only on certain drivers? I think its there to reduce current to the fitting. Thanks for any advice.

Yes, a resistor to select output current. The relevant Tridonic data sheet lists resistance value to required output current.
