Quick update tested a job other day tried it on max z readings were more accurate soon as it come to testing rcbo's tripped out put back to z and still trips. Rung megger and they've told me to send it in for looking at !

 
Well got mine back yesterday with new latest firmware and its had the following updated.

* Reverse polarity warning on all live test ranges.

* High current loop testing available on L-PE as well as L-N.

* Additional non-trip loop test mode (3-wire) on L-PE (automatically selected).

* Updated touch voltage display during RCD testing.

* Faster initialisation during insulation testing.

* Earth test speeds up to 50% faster.

* Continuity beeps on a stable measurement.

* Continuity measurement held and transfers to secondary display on disconnection.

* Default "OFF" time now 10 minutes.

* Louder buzzer.

Not tried it yet though.

 
That will be 2.05 then.

Odd the enclosed service sheet said Calibration, Firmware Update and Incorrect Build ?

Incorrect Build, not sure what that's all about though.

 
Hey quick update just got my tester back

They have replaced faulty socket adaptor firmware update replaced faulty pcb gonna check it tonight

Also recalibrated it

How's yours Steve ?

 
Mine got the same treatment with the same updates as yours steve and mine seems to be working really well now as well

hopefuly megger have solved the problem

I had fluke for years and went French and got a Metrel and I have never had a problem with the unit or the leads for over 3 years
