Hello could someone give me some advice on bypass diodes.

I have 3x40w panels connected in series to an MPPT controller. I am looking to change the cable/connectors as plan to leave them outdoors all the time. After opening the cable box on the back I see they have no bypass diodes fitted and I would like to fit some, i believe shottky diodes are what s needed any recommendations on make and spec would would be apriciated.

I presume one per panel is sufficient as there is only two points to go across?

Each panel is (states 36 cell) 40W, VMP:18V, IMP 2.22A
Many thanks
