Hey guys,

Hopefully this is a quick question.

Can I use the smaller (Wylex on the left) of these two switches as an AC isolator for my inverters?

I ask as I'm really struggling for room with all the peripherals, it's driving me crazy.

that will be fine, fit a 100Amp main switch - easy to get.

Sorry Binky, what do you mean when you say "fit a 100A main switch? Inside the consumer unit? It already has a 100A main switch.

The Wylex switch is 100A.

The REC on the left is a Main Switch 100A rating so can be used to isolate the system.

Binky's saying the switch you have in your photo is a 100 amp main switch, it will be fine for your intended purpose

I just don't have room for all these monstrous switches, the ones for the PV are massive, the ones for the batteries are massive, the generation meter is wide, and now the AC isolator. Rant over. Lol.
