raduial Arm drill

bench grinder

linisher

ultrasonic cleaner

3KVa 110 transformer permanently plugged in

and a load of other stuff

all off a 3036 fuse...boy oh boy am I going to have problems...30 years on and Fuse has never lifted... :coat

the chances of it all being on at same time are about as good as Victoria Beckham reviving her singing career

Thats cos I make sure I unplug my extension.lead while you are using the welder .

I would have to challenge the word "singing" mate. "Revive"......yeah, okay I suppose. "Career"......WTF?????

But "singing". I believe the correct technical term is "caterwauling" (Sandra - word of the day )

One thing I am sure it goes to show is how if we all followed the big red book to the word , how drastically over sized most of the cables we run could be and if followed to the letter how much the cost would be compared to a horse loving gent who might just use a T&E clipped to the fence.

This has from my point of view been a very worthwhile and very informative thread, thanks to all those that have contributed.

I tried putting the word 'singing' in bold italics to try and emphasise my disdane . On a side note, my late Father allways reckoned she had trouble breathing. Look at her face next time she is 'pouting', mouth open and nostrils flared...oh, and she allways looks up David's nose... :coat
