Location of FCU for Shower Pump

Hello guys

At first, I was locating the FCU for the Shower Pump outside the bathroom due to the environment.

On reflection, I am now feel I am able to locate it in the bathroom cupboard as it will be more than 600mm beyond the requirement of the Regs.

If the cupboard is dry with no signs of moisture ingress/damage then I don't see a problem with it. I'm guessing it does have a door on it?

Don’t see a problem with it in cupboard. 

It wouldn’t be a cupboard if it didn’t have a door!! It would be a cubby hole?

It does have a door and as it backs onto a party wall, dry.

Indeed....   Or to put it another way......

The zone ends at a wall....  Including cupboard walls!!

Disagree . Not accessible.

depends on the bath panel, but clearly not as accessible as in a cupboard

Still disagree ................. unless there is a cupboard under the bath .........................................

put it this way ................... would you be expecting a client to get a screw driver out to remove a bath panel to isolate a shower ? I certainly woundn't

Still wouldn't put it behind a bath panel when there is a convenient cupboard to use! 

where it ill be lost behind a mountain of towels and toilet rolls and ladies products  :maria:   :^O
