I am not a sparky but did electrical installation at college as part of my engineering qualification. I used to do a lot of my own electrical work until the introduction of the part P regulations in 2005 put paid to that. Not complaining, I think they were badly needed. I'm a landlord of several properties so it is useful to have a resource such as this for obvious reasons.
