Hi, what is the best way to terminate swa at supply end when using switch fuse?

Is the only option using a metal clad switch fuse or can a non combustible Bakelite switch fuse be used with some form of metal through box for terminating swa?

I know the metal clad switch fuse is ideally used, but can the Bakelite option be used as it is non combustible?

cheers

Supply to mains consumer unit in a renovated property. Already ran the swa cable, was just wondering what people’s thoughts were between using metal clad and the Bakelite switch fuse. Obviously the Bakelite is half the price and smaller if space is an issue.

not familiar with those Kerch unless they are called something else here.....

BFO brass nut

locks onto, gland with a grub screw so,maintains continuity . Earth tail bolts to it

i use loads of them up to 50mm

Are those the thick nuts with ridges on them and a earth screw on them for a crimp?

(best way I could describe them)
Yep
