hi all iv just run a new ring for a kitchen which has 7 points and a fused switched spur end to end is r1 0.39 rn 0.39 r2 0.63 r1 r2 0.25 but my insulation resistance is 478 i know its over 200 but should i re do it or is it ok and why so high ???

I think you need to call an electrican or a doctor or both, iv been in the building trade for over 15 years and havent recevied one electric shock its called safe isolation ohm :^OROTFWL:)ohm

I think you are correct at collage i think i remember them saying if you pass your level 3 your deamed to competent enough as not to need part p anyway part p is only part of the building regulations.

im the same whatever the size of the main fuse 25mm tails 16mm earth 10mm gas and water 4mm min bathroom but thats just me.
