    Fire in the loft

Sorry but even though they may have a big heatsink the heat they dissipate is nothing compared to how hot the fittings get with a 50W halogen in there. Still wouldn't cover them in insulation but if it was an LED in a fire rated fitting then I am sure the damage seen would not be as severe as...

    Weatherproof JB LOL

I just like the way the cheap B&Q red tape is gradually unwrapping and the fact they bothered to put earth sleeving on! The worst thing about it was the fact there was an old wiksa box about a foot away that could have been used but for some reason they decided against it.

    Antiques Roadshow!

Yes the place this JB came out of had singles covered with canvas very neatly clipped under the floor boards, not sure what era that was from. Still nice lot of scrap to weigh in :) and a bit of a time team feeling of uncovering a bit of history.

Kango all the way, wall chaser too much dust. Using a wall chaser in a place with any kind of furniture is a sure fire way to lose customers unless you have 87 dust sheets.

Electrical Danger Notice!!! Client Seriously Not Happy

The phrase one death or injury is one too many is the reason health and safety has gone mad in this country. Compulsory EICRs wont make a jot of difference to the amount of domestic injuries caused by shoddy electrical installations. It would just be met with so much apathy by the public and be...

Electrical Danger Notice!!! Client Seriously Not Happy

Shed this is taken direct from the Financial ombudsman who regulate the insurance companies. Please don't provide mis-information about a car not having a valid MOT being uninsured as this is clearly not the case. Most motor policies contain an express requirement that the vehicle must be...
