I sympathise with it slowing you down to start with.

But not all of us had a good dad to show us how to go on.

My 'master ' used to get well annoyed with my lack of skills at first. But given time with the right people I soon put him to shame. Just to get back at him for humiliating me I used to get him called out in the middle of the night for simple breakdowns knowing he'd look over the obvious and then I'd fix them with the flick of a switch.

Just saying you should be patient. It can work dividends in my opinion.

Thinking for yourself only really works when you know what you're on with. Kinda the opposite of a day two apprentice....

I know what your saying spooney and i did have a chat with him and apologised for my thinking all blokes knew one end of a screw driver from the other.

Its been a week and i have to say he has come on leaps and bounds, fair play to jim he has done everything asked of him.

I explained to him it isnt a failing to ask if you dont know. Next week we just need to speed up a little.

Not back tracking at all..........he still slow as ****. :^O
