Hi all,
I need to replace a bathroom light (it's a CFL flush fitting) for a LED equivalent. I'm aware of the requirements to recognise bathroom zones and install according to those requirements. The regulations also talk about the need for all mains wiring running through a bathroom to be protected by RCD. My question is whether removing an old fitting and replacing with an equivalent LED new fitting would trigger the RCD requirement for a bathroom which currently doesn't already have RCD? It would make the job a lot more expensive?
Many thanks,
Tim.
