Bin Or Linux?

Erm.........couldn't leave it alone! The speed issue was bugging me so I basically Googled on the lines of "old pc / best distro" etc. It's now running Peppermint Four. On balance it was easier to install than Lubuntu (more mouse than keyboard) looks slicker and seems a tad quicker too. It looks really clean and sharp tbh.

Couldn't have done it without YOU! :lol:

Now have three other pc's to "resurrect" for friends. A Samsung R519 laptop with Win7 and an old desktop with XP Pro and another one without a hard disc. I'll get there in the end. I see Steam are even looking at Linux as the future for pc gaming!

I have downloaded a version of Linux Mint which is based on Ubuntu, but, with some add on's gonna try it soon.

I think Peppermit Four takes from Ubuntu 13.04 AND Mint.
