Hello all,

Been doing some work round a regular customers who actually only lives at the end of my road, anyway he asked me to have a quick look at some speaker cables while I was there - he has a digital radio with links to speakers in various rooms which he can turn on and off, however where he has been putting toom many speaker cables into points on back of radio he has broken the connectors on the radio, its those usualy push the plastic bit up, push cable in and let plastic bit go jobies, but the plastic bits and springs have gone. Anyone got any ideas on a sort of sprung connector that could be pushed into the connection and hold it self in? I tried a few bits to no avail. So if anyone has any ides then please let me know!!

wrap the cable round a small screw and screw it into each terminal?

Just an idea, rough i know.

You could try a wonder plug.

They are split down the middle, and if you open them up wide enough, the friction against the sides of the socket will keep them in, perhaps?
