Hi all, I am trying to fix the cooker hood fan not working. Have checked power and switch all ok. Motor windings look ok visually, suspect it may be the capacitor. Unfortunately the value of the capacitor is almost unreadable (see photos). The motor has a capacitance value on it, does this indicate the value of the capacitor required? Any advice would be much appreciated. Regards Jim.DSC_0038.JPG

As it is a kitchen appliance, you really need the opinion of someone who works with them every day, why not ask at the UK white goods forum? Click here to go there They will need the make and model of the cooker hood.
