Dusk Till Dawn Lights

Hi all

Has any one ever tried to wire a dusk till dawn light with a seperate PIR?

My customer wants one inside an entry way where the front door is. She wants it to switch on when leaving by the front door, but to also come on when approaching the entry way.

Would it need a special fitting or would I be best just putting i two seperate PIRs and just use a standard light.

Without knowing the layout of the property , distances etc how can we answer this

Also, not sure what you need due to the title, if its a dusk till dawn light it will be on anyhow ?

The dusk till dawn lights are on dimmed till someone walks into view then they light up brighter. The entry way/porch is bang outside the front door. With the light being in the porch it would not pick up anyone approaching the porch till they got in there.

Dusk till Dawn, especially the snake dance with Salma Hayek definately lights me up ]   ]   ]

However, as in life, simple questions are often resolved with a simple solution, so i would probably just install a seperate external PIR light that would detect persons on the approach to the building.
