I prefer xpelair dx100 range as they are much easier to connect up and you also get 3 year warranty.
The last manrose inline fan i connected up had rubbish terminal that were really small and diificult in getting the cable into.

I tend to use the Manrose CF100T, a bit more expensive than the XF100T but well worth it

I have found some of the cheap 100mm fans, 240V or SELV are so weak they can only just about push a gravity flap open a few mm & thats straight through a wall.

I don't think any SELV fan works as well as a mains one. I have an xpelair one in my bathroom it works but certainly not as well as an inline one as mentioned cfd200t.

They are quite good though,
I have a vent axia humidity SELV in my own gaff, and it just about copes, Im thinking of removing the backdraft flap from my vent as the fan has inbuilt shutters, see if that helps it much.

are you sure that wasnt a 230v one ? I priced one of those up at something similar,
the SELV one was coming in at over £200,!
thats why I have a vent axia fitted, it was in the store/garage , left over from a previous job.
Thinking about it,,,, it was more than 5 years ago

Those Icon fans are so slow, i can go in, have a dump, read a Shakespeare novel and the shutters are just starting to open on last wipe.
