Hi

Has anyone come across the issue with a Growatt inverter and battery system where it has to go into checking mode twice a day at sunrise and sunset for 30min? This effectively takes the battery off line resulting in the import of high tariff electricity to support the system hence significantly reducing system performance and of course financial benefits? Can this be avoided in any way?

Thanks

Tony

Yes, I posted a response to a thread last year about this very issue - but the admins chose to split it from the original thread, meaning it makes very little sense when you read it standalone.

My findings are here - and Growatt support state it’s normal. There’s a complete shutoff (from using battery) for 11 mins each morning, and a roughly 45 min window of reduced production in the evening.
