Lighting pull switch in bathroom

I have had my bathroom extended and a new shower installed (not electric shower) but the pull switch for the bathroom light is now right outside of the shower enclosure.  It is approx. 12 inches away from the edge of the enclose which doesn't go right up to the ceiling. 

Is this acceptable under current regulations, or do I need to get somebody in to re-position it? I know pull switches can be used in bathrooms but do not know if its location so close to a shower is ok.

It is 2.42m high

As its above 2.25m, it is outside of the zones restricting the position of electrical accessories in bathrooms. Scroll down this link and you can see the dimensions to check yourself.

Or use SELV switching with a standard light switch.
