Looking for an installer.

Hello, I’m located in Kent and have a 3.77kWh SolarEdge system installed in about 7 years ago. It has been great but now one panel (micro inverter perhaps) has stopped working which I want to get fixed and I’m thinking about adding more panels and perhaps battery/electric vehicle storage. If there are any installers out there who would consider taking the project on on please get in touch.

Yes, I tried that. The guys who originally done the installation appear to have gone out of business.

Probably one of the panel optimisers has failed. Sometimes they just drop off the system, there's a method of resetting the optimisers in the manual which I think isn't in the password protected section that's worth trying to see if that optimiser will restart.

Beyond that, you don't really want to be changing anything with the current system, as this will invalidate your FiT payments, and you don't want to be losing that.

Have a read about installing batteries in previous posts on here, it may well suit you to do that and use off peak tariffs to charge them up.

Have you tried Solaredge support? for your fault? If its connected to your wifi etc they could maybe identify fault location.

Hi, yes I did try SolarEdge support but got nowhere. If I could find a local company to fix the panel issue I would be happy.
