Haydon Young I worked for in the 80's, I think it was Army Base near Salsbury, but N.G.Bailey were bigger and better to work for.

Here's my preferred stripper, home made knife and ladle for lead lugging.

Blimey Steve .. I thought I was looking at the Staffordshire Saxon Hoard till I opened the pic up !!!!

Joiststrippers I could never get on with TBH but that hack knife brings back memories , have one just like it .

I have a joistripper,

spot on for the smaller stuff, TBH I never done very much with bigger stuff anyway,

but what was the other one that was a just about fitted everything one called?

Thats why I call my Stripping Bar a " Universal" . I dumped all the others years ago , especially the one where you screw the appropriate gland into the tool, then spend the rest of your life adjusting the cutting blade .

Never could get on with the blue one.

Joistripper....love it

Gland type....only ever used on 25mm glands

Pot Wrench.... WOFT

Screwdriver style 'seal crimper'....WOFT with slotted screw heads, changed for hex heads and it was the Dog's Danglies

Ringing tool... WOFT

Bending bar...still got it AND all the skin on my knuckles
