I'm wondering if anyone can help? I have been asked the question, regarding whether solar panels can be installed on the shop or mart side of a petrol station, and whether it falls into the special locations area of the BS7671, and if the connectors of the PV panels have to be flameproof? and all the accessories have to be flameproof as well? Or does the shop side of the petrol station including the proposed new PV circiut, is to be treated the same as a connecting an electrical circuit?

Special locations BS7671 and DSEAR regs appendix 2 BS7671.

The location and the PV array may also require annual PIR & test.

HTH and IIRC
