Self employed sole trader and CIS tax question.

i think it does have a bearing, in effect im waiting till the end of the finacial year to see the money. which could have been put to use elsewhere.

am i along the correct lines?

well were all in the same boat.

ultimately its only tax money anyway that will have to be paid if you had it gross

The worst that can happen is you end up over paying on tax due to CIS deductions. If that happens you will get a tax refund when you file your self assesment.

I would still prefer to be paid gross and not have to pay the tax man until the end of the year.
