Has anyone seen a Triple Pole RCD?

All I can get are 4 pole, and the guys selling me them cant tell me if they will work on a three phase / three wire system!!

I know Ive use a 4 pole on three wire, but I cant remember how I got the test button to operate. Im sure I had to put a resistor in across one of the phases and the neutral way of the RCD. Any ideas?

look at the test button diagram on the RCD - it may be connected between 2 phases. if it is connected to neutral, it will need a resistor between a phase and 'neutral'. value will depend on the resistance of the test button circuit

Nice to hear someone else thinks like me :)

I finally managed to get a coherent response from Dorman Smith, they even sent me a wiring diagram for their 4 pole RCCB.

is it the same diagram thats on the side or a more detailed one?

you'd think they would put the test circuit between 2 phases instead of phase and neutral, since a neutral is not always used in 3 phase. but then i suppose that makes sense, so best leave it as is...
