I've a customer who would like a timer switch for his heated towel rail. Not come across a specific switch for this. I thought of an immersion heater timer with the option to put on hour boost or turn off completely in the summer. Any body have recommendations or know if there is a switch specially for towel rails.

The 1 hr booster timers are fine if they only want it on for short periods. The typical towel rail draws between 200 and 400 watts - virtually ANY timing device will work. Just don`t put it in the bathroom, next to the towel rail, unless its appropriately IP rated ;)
