I'm after a rechargeable torch (a big one), having read some reviews most have a poor battery life.

Any recommendations from you lot ??

Thorsman light stick is good 5 hour light from full charge and about 30 quid.

O)

i have some concept LED worklights. had them over a year. battery life isnt as good as it used to be (almost daily use), but still a good light.

also have a petzl due head torch with rechargeable batteries

Thanks but I can't imagine it chucks out much light. I was looking at them 1 million candle+ torches.

The BEST* one available is

*IMHO

I use one almost daily. Every single part replaceable. Made in Britain. Has a low light level with long battery life and very bright with a shorter battery life.

I use it for work, walking the dog and illuminating bunnies. The head is directional. If mine broke [bearing in mind every single part separately available] I would buy another without hesitation.

I have a Petzl head torch with belt mounted battery pack that is also very useful.
