Who remembers these and also what the "issue" was with them 😡

as the title says!
id forgotten all about them. Newly tiled bathroom, 3 months on this failed ( not my job I may add, just helping an old dear out )

I remember them, I had one.

I don't recall an issue, but I can guess if they get wet around the switch you might get a shock?

They don’t fit a standard double box

fixing centres are closer together by about 12mm and the box , and thus the hole in the tiles, is wider

In the "old days" a lot of stuff came with non standard back boxes, like some cooker switches with a socket.
