    Agricultural

So got a job to supply a shed from another shed on a farm.  The old overhead supply was pulled down by a tractor driving under it.  The farmer has told me he would raise the catenary higher (supposedly to 6m).  Still will try to persuade him to go underground as its about 20m between sheds. Generator Books, websites

I guess basic principles to start with, but wouldnt need to go too deep into the theory.  Ideally a book that was written by an electrician would be helpful.  I don't work with motors at all so anything I did learn in the past is long gone now!

    Rccb

thanks for replies guys!  Bit scary that thought it did have over current protection, but more scary that unless wasn't paying attention at the time, was at a job where there were a few socket circuits on RCCB's (hence with no over current protection then!)

    Rccb

So please clarify this as was reading something on RCCB's that confused me! As I understand, an RCCB (im thinking of a 32Amp Hager here) is basically the same as an RCBO? i.e. combined RCD and MCB , with the older style hager being a two module one? Also for this type,(excuse my laziness to...

hey guys, yeah thought compared to some of past papers that last nights exam was not too bad-only couple of questions didnt have clue about. think thing with this exam is that just knowing the answer isn't enough- its HOW you write it down and if you don't use the exact language and terms then...
