The ban was the right thing to do .........................
If it stopped just one plane from crashing it was fully justified. Even though this can never be proved .................. if there was any risk no matter how small it has to be taken.
The airlines are all saying how much it has cost them but how much would if of cost them if just 1 plane had of crashed ? The insurance payouts alone could of crippled the small carriers, with out the cost of replacing the aircraft and the retraining of staff , and the loss of confidence in that carrier.

by that theory, maybe we should ban all flights - incase they crash
