Hi,
Total newbie to this but getting my act together :)

Looking for input with regard to the best type of Hybrid Inverter.
Setup in Spring will be:
12 x 475Wp Jinko Tiger Neo Panels
3 USC500 Pylontech Batteries - or seplos mason battery 15Kw
Octopus Agile Tariff - Not looking to export back to grid
With size of panels would be looking for a 5Kw inverter.

Your experiences & opinions would be grateful

Thanks

Jass

IMHO look for one with
i) decent battery discharge rates, e.g. around 5kW
ii) at least 6kw AC output
iii) string voltage dc input which will accommodate your solar panels

Inverters which come to mind
Solis
Givenergy
myenergi
solax
solaredge
enphase

Suppliers which come to mind
Solarsparky
Midsummer
Itstechnologies
Bimble

Suggest you have a look at pvgis to get some generation estimates and easy-pv planning tool for more detail

There's lots on the forum which will help, recommend you have a good search around, come back with specific queries if u need to

I have a Solis 3.6kW hybrid inverter with 2 US3000C Pylontech batteries - only 10 x 400w panels. Has worked faultlessly for the last year. I'm adding a 3rd battery because in summer the output is enough to fully charge the batteries by early afternoon. Solis Cloud app lets you monitor panel and batteries.
