I have my NIC assessment coming up and don't have a calibration log for my MFT. I am happy to make my own up but was wondering if someone has a copy they wouldn't mind me using to see exactly what I need to put on the form.

Cheers

Do you have a Check box or Calcard?

If Yes

Just make a printed table with each of the values off you check box,

an adjacent box to write the actual reading from your meter.

Include a description of location of a test socket for Earth loop & RCD test readings!

A heading line or two with:-

Make / Model

Serial Number

Date of test

Date of last formal calibration certificate

stick a little box for any observations..

e.g. visual condition of leads and any damage / batt replaced.

Thats the sort of info I keep in a folder...

and that keeps NICEIC happy with my calibration & testing of my meters.

I have got a "Download" part for this forum that I have saved somewhere. I will add that to forum at a later date as it would better to put them all in one place.

It will be much easier for people.
