Chaps .. does anyone have any experience of setting up a circuit for one of these .. ?

The manufacturers spec is a 25A supply but I'm reading that they cause significant inrush current so would a C breaker be better from the outset ?

I'd prob go for a type D if you can get one they are a bit more expensive but it does eleviate the start up current.

We used to have them on some machines at the last place i worked at.

Cartridge fuses are good for welders.

Looking fine with the sums ... Calculated Zs is 0.11 and 80% of max Zs is 0.29 so hopefully all should be ok ..

Any thoughts on RCD protection ? I'm reading there is quite some leakage from these ... the cable run is 2m ... dedicated circuit for fixed equipment ..

No RCD protection required as long as cable is not buried.
