Have fitted a couple of Solis inverters with the acryl meters that have a rj45 connection with a cat 6 cable from CU to inverter in the attic. No problems with comms and work fine.
Have a solis inverter to fit next week and it has an eastron meter, no rj45 port. CU is too far from inverter, so I'm planning on running cat 6 straight from eastron to inverter with rj45 crimp on inverter side.
Has anyone had experience with this meter install as the wiring diagram only has rs485 and not cat 6
