Hi,
I have a growatt spa3000 hooked up to a Li-Ion battery. I would like to hook up the EPS connection to allow my battery to power my house in the event of a blackout. To do this would I need to do something with contactors to prevent the EPS from being connected directly to the mains or is there something I can do with settings? The growatt manual explicitly states not to hook the EPS up to the same feed as the main power so I'm assuming I can't do this. I was curious how other people have done it. Thanks

Either you fit a 13amp socket to the EPS output and plug in to there what you to run or you have to have a changeover switch on the incoming supply. The changeover switch can be manual or auto and will feed the whole house via your consumer unit, you do however need to be careful with the loads that are switched on during this operation, it's easy to exceed 3000w and trip the supply.
