I was working today in a house under refurb and owned by a friend. Myself and my mate had just started to wire up the kitchen when the RCD tripped. Knowing it wasn't down us I went upstairs to find her washing down the walls with copious amounts of water. I said she was lucky we had fitted the new board, she looked at me pointed at the sockets and said but they are switched off. She couldnt quite grasp how electricity works.
