PV Problems

Hi all,had a 4kwp system fitted on my barn 145 meters away from the house. first sunny day the inverter trips out with grid fault 1 (SMA) I think its the cable but the instaler wants to tweek the inverter. I am a farmer not an electrician, how do I check on the cable

how do I check the resistance of a cable

is the Barn/Shed TT'd SMA are known to have problems if the earth resistance rises too high.
