Ra For Earth Rod

Can anyone of you bright chaps tell me how to get the Ra measurement for an earth rod, I have a Meggar 1552 to do the test with.

Put your meter to EFLI setting (HIGH) and disconnect the rod from the MET, red probe on Live (line) black on rod and bobs your mothers brother.

Naturally, I assumed there was some competency involved here! :coat

But connect the black first...

if you connect the red first then the black will be live through the meter!!
