Some dry lining boxes are absolute CARP.

If you find that type, don't waste your time with them, swap them for Appleby.  That is the only make of dry lining box that I use.

I don't make a specific point of replacing any non-Appleby boxes..

But absolutely agree....

they are my preferred choice when it comes to supply & fit for new work or additions to an installation...

The Tenby ( I think) used to be very good, they may even have been the original. The only downside was they had a steel spring that used to go up behind your  thumbnail ....other than that they were good
