Looks like Live & Neutral from one cable go to two different cables. Your not isolating a conservatory supply are you.

We have to use grommets now too FFS!

Doubt if grommets are needed here, unlike in a cavity wall, the cables are unlikely to move once installed, so the knockout edge would not cut through the sheath and insulation.

Definitely not needed if the cables were plastered-in right up to the box, without conduit, as there would be zero possibility of movement after installation.

Not saying they shouldn't be used, damage might occur during installation, just that they need not be used.

As a trainee, this is the level of workmanship I aspire to.
Like I said before.... I was lucky to find this as I was only there to connect the boiler up and this is right next to it..

Let's just say that it's wired up correctly now with crimps on the through joints and lever wagos where I connected my switched fuse spur
