I am replacing an isolator for a fused switched isolator as the 16mm T&E is at least 10 metres in length from the meter.
The main cutout is 60A
What size fuse would you fit to the switched isolator? I know there should be diversity, but wanted to know what others have done in this situation? Usually I fit them and the supply is 80 or 100A

The term you are looking for is selectivity not diversity. What is the cable supplying.

the main cutout fuse is of little interest to us - it's not ours to play with, and whilst it may say 60A it maybe an 80A fuse in it. We of course have no access to said fuse as seal fairies don't exist. ;). So I would size the fuse by the cable you are protecting, although getting a 63A shouldn't be hard, I don't recall seeing anything smaller
