Around here GS chaps charge £60 to do the mandatory gas checks which take about 1 hour - which nobody complains about, yet ask £135 minimum for an EICR which takes 4 + hours and "you are too expensive"... 

How true that is .....I charge  around £180  for an average house .... a woman last year said  "Too much  ,  estate agents told me £40"   :C

Which is plain stupid ................try asking an estate agent to sell your house for less than there normal fees and they have a hissy fit!
