I did most of the 1st fix on a garage rewire today. Socket ring final is done but can not do any more without stripping out the old mess as its in the way. I have uploaded some pics and the links are below.

New CU and a socket.

Two sockets for fridges and freezers and a fused outlet for the electric door

New light points (existing one can be seen) and socket just obscured by the door (can see wiring).

Two more sockets up the back end of the garage.

Thanks. First time using conduit and broke the first spring within 4 bends. Not had too much wasted plastic either. I am quite pleased with it.

Ian.

Nice Ian,

I broke my spring 3 weeks ago. :_|

PS. You only needed the one link as it is possible to see all the other pics by using the arrow at the bottom. :)

Not a bad job!!

What were you doing to break your spring?? I've had mine a couple of years now and never had a problem with it!!

Soz, but I thought I could see a few kinks in it:(

i always carry 2 conduit springs on the van,
i remember having springs for 20 &25mm conduit, but all i could find in the van was springs for 15 & 22mm copper pipe. missing springs will show up once job is finished
