Hi everyone,

Starting a new install today and have picked up a 3phase Hager board but plan on linking to convert it to single phase. Now my question is, how do I fit surge to this? Usually the 3phase Hager surge sits next to the main switch and each phase feeds into its own surge device. Can I still fit this or as it’s only single phase do I need to fit a single phase surge and supply it from an mcb?

Bobby.

I would be asking Hager if their single-pole linking kit can have two pole SPD incorporated into it. Four-pole SPD should be connected to the voltage is it rated for so a separate enclosure with SPD is probably your option.
