Found this 'termination' when changing a CU, the SWA was feeding a garage with the sheath used as an earth.....

Now chased out the wall, poked through at the base, up into the meter cupboard where I will split the tails and a KMF will be fitted.

Pretty sure some of the underground joints used to come with jubilee clips at some point. Most seem to use constant force springs now though.

Done in some cutouts - yes.

Correct - no
yes, it is the correct way, the cutouts also come with the jubilee clips. if you dont know much about them or how to install them, keep your mouth shut (/away from the keyboard) instead of jumping in with 'its not the correct way'

I know the ones you mean. Usually the cheap nasty ones. Since when did manufacturers of accessories dictate how cables should be made off?
