I notice there is no 'Whatever you can get away with' choice?
Artics are only allowed to do 40mph on b roads bit of a s..t if you get behind one.or an artic on B roads, or towing a caravan or trailer - though don't ask me cos I've forgotten :^O

According to the ex-traffic copper on my speed awareness courseX(, (and it was February so may have forgotten), a dual carriageway is a road with 2 surfaces, so anything with some sort of barrier/grass in the middle.
