Indeed Andy. There was and continues to be a load of 'em booked in South and South West Wales, Daily.

And when asked what is the speed limit for their Van - the drivers reply 70mph.

Mr Police officer replies "No, it's 60mph, now here's your speeding ticket", "Have a nice day".

the van thing isnt well publicised, anyone know how long it has been like that?
Been like it for years Mate.

With regard to the "Not well Publised"... It is in black and white and as Learner drivers - We should read the Highway Code from Front to Back.

And as responsible drivers, we should buy any ammended Highway code books. :)

i cant remember anything being said about the van thing when i done my test, i knew about the 7.5t and above, but it wasnt until after the test when i found out about the 2t van thing. although things may have changed in the last 5 years?

I passed 17 years ago (car) and it was like it then. :(

a dual carriageway is a road with 2 surfaces, so anything with some sort of barrier/grass in the middle.
Like this one a few miles from where I live. As somebody once observed, it's a dual country lane!
