Hi all,
I have been wanting to become an electrician for years now. I have only just turned 20, so still young!
Basically, I just need some advice on what to do. I have a test on the 19th for JTL Training, however I'm still yet to find an apprenticeship.
I would like to go to college to learn, however the course doesn't start until September. This isn't a problem, but I would rather spend the 8 months until then actually learning something.
I think I'm right in saying I can start at level 2 at college as all of my GCSE's are grades A & B. Is that right?
Also, what route you would go down to become an electrician? College, apprenticeship, Clarkson Evans? I think Clarkson Evans are out of the question because they only undertake domestic work.
Any help would be greatly received.
Regards
Jake
