Hi all

My house is fitted with external wall mounted power supply cables. Many of the clips holding the cables secure have broken. The issue is I cannot find replacement clips. Does anyone know where to buy these clips of what they are called. Thanks in advance. I have a picture but cannot seem to upload it

Without seeing the pic the normal ones we usually call P clips, screwfix call them cleats, you probably need 99897 or 45541

Carl , do these cables belong to your power distributor  ?

Are they modern , robust PVC  armoured cables  or are they single core , insulated cables coming from a local power pole?

I ask because if they are old supply cables , they are insulated with  a butyl type rubber which deteriorates over time and can be DANGEROUS to touch .

Ohh I maybe read that OP wrong, I thought he meant it was going to an outside socket.

So as correctly noted above, don't touch if it is the supply cable to the house.

Well spotted Deke and Sidney
