I installed 3 outside flood lights all 50 w LED  with a PIR .The lights seem to become faulty atfer a month or so.All wiring correct etc..The house also has solar panels .The flood lights are BG .Any one else has had these problems ?

Came across CU in shed which is TT supplied by two 2.5 in parallel but one 2.5 neutral from another Db.So this is like a ring for the live wire .The supply cable is SWA buried The two 2.5 wires are on a 30A rewireable.What do you think ?   Satisfactory or not

How would you connect 16mm tails into a domestic c/u .The tails are for a garage c/u ? Or putting the tails into the meter with c/u 1 ?

Checking a ring circuit today before I started any work on it r1 =.54 rN=.54 r2=345 ohms could this be a lose connection ? Is it best to use a wander lead at each socket cpc to cu to find the fault.I think some diy person has put a joint box with a lose connection

I sure I the last time I was accessed by NAPIT the guy said If you were to put a new circuit to a shed for sockets i armoured cable it must be TT I think a circiut for socket should be left as TNCS ,both protected by 30mA rcd If it were a new CU then TT it.
